Cambridge United Women retain their unblemished start to the league season as they prepare to face AFC Wimbledon at the Abbey Stadium.
Manager Darren Marjoram is pleased with how his Cambridge United Women’s team has responded to their season-opening thrashing.
Marjoram’s team has gone unbeaten since losing 5-0 to Norwich City, collecting eight points out of a possible twelve in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East.
“I’m overjoyed,” he remarked, “especially after we conceded five goals on the first day.”
“After that, we had to assess everything, including not only the players but also myself and the coaching staff.” We had some interesting discussions, but talking about it is meaningless unless you go and exhibit it.
