Rangers injury tracker is updated as Rabbi Matondo’s ‘bad one’ is evaluated and Tom Lawrence’s return date is revealed.

Michael Beale is dealing with a growing injury list, with several important starters absent.

Rangers picked up another three points against Motherwell, but Michael Beale’s issues are just getting worse.

The Ibrox boo boys were out in force at full-time after the Light Blues were on the back foot for long periods of the 1-0 Scottish Premiership victory – and the line for the Auchenhowie treatment room only grew after the game. Rabbi Matondo limped out against Motherwell and was replaced by John Souttar, forcing Beale to adapt his strategy against Stuart Kettlewell’s tenacious team.

The Welshman appeared to have injured his knee during the match and underwent treatment before being replaced by the Scotland centre-back. When asked about Matondo’s full-time fitness, Beale admitted he could be sidelined for a while due to the injury hammerblow: “Rabbi today, we think that might be a bad one.”

“He took a blow on the outside of his knee.” “I need to see it back, but that’s the information I was given when I came in.”

Tom Lawrence was unable to attend the Lanarkshire outfit’s visit. He hobbled out during the midweek Europa League match against Real Betis, and Beale acknowledged he had a “issue” after the triumph over the La Liga side.

He gave a timetable for Tom Lawrence’s comeback before the game, saying, “Unfortunately, Tom Lawrence has an issue.” We won’t see him for at least the next two or three games.

“When he came off the field, he thought it was just cramp.” But the next day, he had a reaction.”

Rangers’ newest vital duo to be absent from action is this combo. Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin have joined Kieran Dowell on the bench for several weeks. Danilo is also sidelined after suffering a horrific injury when scoring against St Johnstone.
