The time of Tampa Bay’s Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions has been changed.
The Buccaneers’ home game versus the Lions has been rescheduled for a later time.
The National Football League announced today that Tampa Bay’s Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions has been moved to 4:25 p.m. ET on Oct. 15 and will be telecast on FOX to fill the national doubleheader window. It was originally planned to begin at 1 p.m. ET.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will wear their iconic ‘Creamsicle’ uniforms versus the former NFC Central Division foe Lions to honor the organization’s rich history. The game is the first time Tampa Bay has worn the team’s signature color scheme since 2012. It also serves as the highlight of the organization’s Creamsicle campaign, which focuses on celebrating the team’s nearly 50-year legacy.
Following a 3-1 start, the Buccaneers are enjoying a bye week. Last Saturday, the club overcame New Orleans on the road to record its first NFC South division victory of the season. Tampa Bay is 2-0 on the road and has a point to prove after the break.
