After a successful appeal to the Football Association, City Captain Will Aimson had his red card from Tuesday night reversed.
Aimson was sent off in the 66th minute of City’s 4-1 loss at Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night by referee David Rock, and he now faces a three-match ban.
However, the club provided the appropriate information to the Football Association, who have not overturned such a sanction, indicating that Will is now ready to return ahead of City’s encounter against Barnsley on Saturday.
“n’s William Aimson will be available for their next three matches following a successful wrongful dismissal claim,” the FA said in a statement.
On Tuesday, 3 March, the defender was sent off for major foul play during their EFL League One match against Charlton Athletic.
