‘Die for him’ -Wolves receives strong warning ahead of derby clash

‘Die for him,’ Aston Villa warned Wolves ahead of the Premier League encounter.
Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa issues a stern warning ahead of the West Midlands derby at Molineux, according to the latest Aston Villa news.
Wolves players must “die for” manager Gary O’Neil against Aston Villa on Sunday, according to goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Last Monday, the goalkeeper signed a new four-year contract before leading Wolves to a 2-1 win over Manchester City. It was the ultimate test of trust for former Bournemouth boss O’Neil, who only took over for Julen Lopetegui in July but has already made an impact on the squad.

Sa said: “We had very good managers too but Gary is here with us now, we have to work with him and die for him on the pitch. We just need time, football is like this.

“We continued to work, the coach has been here a short period and sometimes we have to adapt to his ideas too. We are working very well, learning what he wants us to do.

“The future has arrived, and I’m here to do my best.” I’m pleased; I’m here to assist the team, and I’m pleased with the new deal.”

“It was a very important result for us,” Sa said of Wolves’ upset triumph against Manchester City last weekend. “We worked hard for the victory,” he remarked.

“We knew it would be difficult, and we had to give it our all because City are the best team in the world.” It was incredible. All of their players are dangerous, but we did an excellent job of defending the goal.”
