Ohio State football has learned who its bowl opponent and location will be.
While the top six teams in the College Football Playoff rankings had their bowl games determined earlier, Ohio State football had to wait.
They now know who they’ll be playing and where they’ll be going: Missouri in the Cotton Bowl. The Buckeyes will face the No. 9 Tigers at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on December 29th at 8 p.m. ET.
The previous time the two teams met was in 1998, when Ohio State won 35-14 in Columbus. The Buckeyes lead the series 10-1-1, however the teams have never met in a bowl game.
This will let Ohio State to improve on its 2-11 record in bowl games versus SEC opponents.
