Texas Longhorns’ key player reportedly set to exit

DEC 19 KRISTOPHER ROSS ACCESSES THE PORTAL According to On3, Texas Longhorns defensive lineman Kristopher Ross has entered the transfer portal.

Ross is said to have left the team in late October, and his player profile has since been removed from the Texas Athletics website.

He was a member of Texas’ 2022 recruiting class out of North Shore (Houston), however he only had one tackle this season. Ross had two tackles last season, both in the season opener against Louisiana-Monroe.

Ross was taken off the field in the 31-10 win over the Wyoming Cowboys on Sept. 16 with an elbow injury and did not play again.

MAALIK MURPHY WILL PAY VISITS ON DECEMBER 15TH. Texas Longhorns transfer quarterback Maalik Murphy is reportedly planning official visits after declaring on Wednesday that he is entering the portal.

Is Texas QB Maalik Murphy being courted by other teams?

Murphy is visiting Duke, Oregon State, and Baylor, according to 247Sports recruiting analyst Greg Biggins.

He’ll be in Durham today (Friday), then back to Texas to see the Bears in Waco on Saturday, followed by a cross-country travel to Corvallis on Sunday.

Murphy concluded his Texas career 2-0 as a starter, going 40-71 for 477 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.
