Warriors star player has made a shocking NBA History

Klay Thompson made NBA history during Tuesday’s game.

The Golden State Warriors hosted the Orlando Magic in San Francisco on Tuesday evening.

The Warriors won the game 121-115, and Klay Thompson scored 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one block in 25 minutes of action, shooting 6/11 from the field and 3/8 from three-point range.

Thompson made NBA history by passing Richie Guerin (14,676) for 157th on the all-time scoring list during the contest.

Following Guerin, the next player for Thomson to pass will be Mike Bibby (14,698).

In 32 games, Thompson is averaging 16.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 42.0% from the field and 37.7% from three-point range.

The Warriors improved to 16-17 in their first 33 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They snapped a three-game losing streak and will now host Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets on Thursday evening at the Chase Center.

At home, the Warriors are 10-8 in 18 games.

Thompson was selected 11th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft and has spent his whole career with the Golden State Warriors.

In 747 regular-season games, the five-time All-Star averaged 19.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 45.4% from the field and 41.4% from three-point range.

Since the 2015 season, he has helped lead the organization to four NBA Championships (and six NBA Finals appearances).

The Magic fell to 19-14 in their first 33 games, putting them in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
