Wolves are set to complete a shocking deal for a top class striker

Wolves are apparently interested in loaning out West Ham forward Danny Ings.

According to a recent Telegraph article, the out-of-favour Hammers attacker has surfaced as a major target for Gary O’Neil.

Wolves are unlikely to offer any clubs transfer fees as they look to make temporary loan deals to comply with financial rules.

And, with Ings, 31, struggling for game time under David Moyes, the former Liverpool striker will likely embrace a move to the Midlands for the second half of the season.

The Englishman’s contract doesn’t expire until next summer, so even if he joins West Ham on a short-term loan, West Ham may still sell him for a fee at the end of the season.

If Ings’ potential move goes through, he will take over for Fabio Silva, who has joined Scottish club Rangers on loan until the end of the season. Sasa Kalajdzic is also scheduled to leave for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan.
