BREAKING NEWS: Norwich city announces the departure of club favourite

Norwich midfielder Adam Forshaw is in talks over a move to Championship rivals Plymouth Argyle.

The 32-year old only joined Norwich at the start of the season after failing to agree terms on a new deal with Leeds United.

He has made nine appearances for David Wagner’s side but is ready to make the switch to Argyle where head coach Ian Foster wants him to help a relatively young team kick on and push away from the relegation places.

Foster has already recruited Alfie Devine and Ashley Phillips on loan from Tottenham and hopes Forshaw’s vast experience and technical ability can prove a steadying influence on his young charges.

Plymouth are also hoping to keep hold of goalscoring midfielder Morgan Whittaker as top flight scouts continue to monitor his progress.
