Florida State has never worn turquoise on the football field.

Intentional or not, it appears Florida State fans have received a first look at a team-issued turquoise version of the football jerseys. FSU fans are used to seeing the Seminoles in this hue on the hardwood and even witnessed the football staff wear the color during the Duke game in October of 2023.Five Florida State football players who will battle for jobs in spring  practice

However, turquoise has never been worn on the gridiron by the ’Noles.

The photo was shared by Gabriel Isasi V of Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath, a personal injury law firm out of West Palm Beach, Florida. According to his X account, Isasi V is an FSU alum and a part of multiple prominent FSU support organizations such as The Battle’s End.

According to Seminoles.com, “The color turquoise represents harmony, friendship and fellowship in the culture of many Native Americans.”
