After the 2022 NFL season, the New York Giants looked like a team on the rise in the NFC, as it seemed like everything was coming together under new head coach Brian Daboll.

The Giants were able to defy the odds that season and become the surprise team in the NFL, resulting in a playoff berth and an upset win over the Minnesota Vikings during the postseason.

Unfortunately, the 2023 NFL season went much differently for the Giants, as the team came back down to earth and resembled the team that had been struggling ever since the retirement of franchise quarterback Eli Manning.

Heading into the NFL offseason, the Giants will likely be as busy as any team in the league, as a lot of areas need to be addressed, especially on the offensive side of the football.

Along with potentially making a move to bring in a new quarterback to lead this team, New York could use a boost in the receiving corps, with LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers potentially on their radar in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

Nabers was recently asked about potentially playing for the Giants by Josina Anderson of CBS Sports and said the following about the prospect of going to New York:

“Going to New York wouldn’t be a bad idea,” Nabers said. “But the quarterback situation I know they’re going to figure it out, especially if they’ve got a caliber receiver coming like me. They’re going to want to give me the ball, so they’re going to want to have a quarterback that can do that.”

The upcoming draft is one of the deepest at the wide receiver position in recent memory, with Marvin Harrison Jr. being arguably the best player at the position followed by many others that could go in the first round on April 25.

Only time will tell what the Giants do and if Nabers is in their plans.
