Boca Juniors won 3-2 over Belgrano de Córdoba as part of the eighth day of the Professional League 2024, the goals were scored by Edinson Cavani at minutes 63′, 73′ and 79′ for Boca Juniors, the Belgrano de Córdoba goals were scored by Lucas Passerini at minute 21′ and Matías Marín at minute 90′.
Edinson Cavani is a new Boca Juniors player. This has just been confirmed by the Argentinian club on their social networks with a video with several of his goals for different clubs in Europe and the Uruguayan national team.

This is Cavani’s return to South American football after 16 years, when he left Uruguay’s Danubio (the club where he came through and became a champion) for Italy’s Palermo. He would later move on to Napoli, PSG, Manchester United and Valencia before returning to South America.
When will Cavani make his debut?
Boca’s next game is today, against Independiente in the Argentinian league. The most likely debut of the ‘Matador’ would be in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores, in which he would face Nacional of Uruguay.
