EAGAN, Minn. – The Vikings have included a modern part to their coaching staff.
Minnesota contracted Josh McCown as its quarterbacks coach and named Chris O’Hara as pass amusement master, the group reported Tuesday.
Initially a third-round draft choose by Arizona in 2002, McCown went through 18 seasons within the stars with 12 NFL groups. He begun for groups at a few stops and served as a dependable save for others, playing in 102 career recreations and making 76 begins. He played the 2010 season for the Hartford Colonials of the Joined together Football Association.
McCown most as of late served as the Jaguars quarterbacks coach beneath previous Head Coach Straight to the point Reich. He joins a Vikings staff driven by Head Coach Kevin O’Connell and will work beneath Hostile Facilitator Wes Phillips.
A local of Jacksonville, Texas, McCown made a difference lead his tall school football group to the playoffs and was the East Texas Player of the Year in 1997. He went on to play collegiately at SMU, where he got to be the primary first year recruit QB to begin for the Broncos since 1989.
