Teenager killed by train at North Adelaide

A 19-year-old pedestrian has died after being hit by a train at North Adelaide.

Police said the man was hit at a pedestrian crossing on War Memorial Drive at about 1pm on Monday.

He died at the scene.

Road restrictions were in place and train services on the route had been delayed, but the railway line has since reopened.

On January 4, anĀ 87-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by the Cockle TrainĀ near Victor Harbor.
