Philadelphia Eagles BREAKING: Jason Kelce Officially Retiring – ‘What in The (Bleep?)’

Philadelphia Eagles legendary center Jason Kelce left some room for speculation, but now, he’s officially hanging up his cleats.

After a decorated 13-year NFL career, all of which he played with the Eagles, Kelce announced his retirement from football on Monday during a press conference at the facility.

“It wasn’t even the collisions I remember most, but the feeling before of ‘What in the (bleep) is about to happen?”” Kelce said, fighting back tears.

Kelce tweeted on Monday morning that he has “come to a decision,” leading many to believe that this was his retirement announcement.

A seven-time Pro Bowler, six-time All-Pro and one-time Super Bowl champion, Kelce has been a staple of success every since he stepped foot in Philadelphia after being a sixth-round pick of out Cincinnati in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Kelce set a franchise record with 156 consecutive starts while playing in 193 contests, the second-most in Eagles history.

Kelce’s brother Travis and mother Donna were both in attendance for the announcement.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported prior to the press conference that Kelce would be retiring.

“Seven-time Pro-Bowl selection and Philadelphia sports icon Jason Kelce announced he is retiring from the NFL.”
