Four-star CB returns to Tennessee, still has Vols among ‘top choices’

A four-star Class of 2025 cornerback who’s a longtime Tennessee target was back in Knoxville on Saturday to attend the Vols’ practice

Tennessee has been one of the top contenders for Onis Konanbanny since the Vols gave him his third scholarship offer, and his first from an SEC school, more than a year ago. Some things have changed recently among his group of favorites, but his interest in Tennessee has remained a constant.

The four-star Class of 2025 cornerback from Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, S.C., visited the Vols on Saturday for the first time in more than six months, and he said they’re still one of the top teams he’s considering. He was already set to return to Tennessee on an official visit the weekend of June 21, and he said he enjoyed making the trip to Knoxville again and seeing the Vols practice in person.
