SAD NEWS: Seahawks key player will miss the rest of the season due to……

I figured we could take a break from the NFL Draft for just one second to do a little bit of trivia.

There’s a quiz on Sporcle maintained and updated every year by Timmy Crandall that lists every Seattle Seahawks player to score a touchdown in the Pete Carroll era. Now that the Carroll era is over, the final tally is 101 players and 675 touchdowns spread out over 14 seasons.

I’ve yet to get a perfect score. Last year I went 93 of 95, proving that my freakishly deep memory of Seahawks games is not perfect. This year I mustered 97 of 101, and since I correctly answered everyone who scored in 2022 and 2023, that means there were two players I remembered from last year whom I forgot this year. Without giving too much away, all four Seahawks I whiffed on scored no more than two touchdowns.

Now it’s your turn! This quiz used to have a 12-minute time limit, but the 2023 entrants mean you now get 15 minutes. It should be noted that to qualify as a touchdown scorer, the player must have reached the end zone themselves. In other words, don’t type in Drew Lock or Trevone Boykin since they only threw touchdown passes but didn’t get in the end zone. You can, however, name the players they threw TDs to!

Tip: Several Seahawks players have shared last names, and only the last name is required for an entry to be filled.

When you’re done, report back with your score in the comments! Use that spoiler tag so you don’t have anyone taking a peek at what you missed. I bow to anyone who can get 100 percent.
