Pittsburgh Steelers to provide full coverage of 2024 NFL Draft
The 2024 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and the Steelers will provide comprehensive coverage of the league’s largest offseason event across all of its digital channels.
The draft begins at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, in Detroit, Michigan, but the Steelers’ digital platforms will provide extensive coverage throughout the week.
Here are a few highlights.
• Kick off your draft week by tuning in to General Manager Omar Khan and Head Coach Mike Tomlin’s pre-draft press conference on Monday, April 22 at 12 p.m. on Steelers.com, the Steelers Official Mobile App, and the team’s social platforms. You may also hear the press conference live on Steelers Nation Radio (SNR). Can’t watch it live? Don’t worry. The news conference will be fully archived on the Steelers’ digital and social channels.
• The Steelers Draft Countdown Show, sponsored by UPMC, will air live on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. on Steelers.com, the Steelers Official Mobile App, and the team’s social media channels. Steelers Nation can also participate by having their draft-related social media posts featured on the show.
• All news conferences held at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex throughout the draft will be live broadcast and archived on Steelers.com, the Steelers Official Mobile App, and the team’s social media channels. There will also be analysis of each of the Steelers’ Day 1 and Day 2 picks.
• Other video material highlights include unique one-on-one interviews with Steelers draft picks and behind-the-scenes footage from the Steelers’ UPMC Rooney Sports Complex and the NFL Draft in Detroit.
• Steelers.com will provide comprehensive editorial coverage of all Steelers draft picks, including news and commentary on each player.
• Steelers Nation Radio (SNR) will broadcast over 25 hours of live audio programming during the draft, including live press conferences, special guest interviews, and commentary. The audio coverage starts with a Draft Preview Show on Wednesday, April 24 and ends with a Draft Wrap-Up Show on Monday, April 29.
• Fans in the Pittsburgh market have even more ways to enjoy the NFL Draft:
• The Steelers Draft Party will be held at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday, April 27th, from 12 to 5 p.m. As a Draft Party bonus, Cam Heyward will record an episode of his “Not Just Football” podcast with special guests. • Catch up on all of the draft action with the Steelers Draft Wrap Up Show, presented by UPMC. The show will premiere on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. on KDKA. Fans outside of the Pittsburgh market can watch the show later that evening on the Steelers YouTube account.
• Steelers.com and the Steelers Official Mobile App feature a new draft-themed design this week, making draft information and content more accessible.
• Fans are invited to download the Steelers Official Mobile App for quick access to Steelers draft content on their phones. Don’t forget to enable push notifications to receive all of the newest draft changes and news directly to your home screen. Turn on push notifications within the app by going to the “More” menu and selecting “Settings” and “Notifications.”
