Indiana basketball will be without one of its key players in tonight’s Big Ten tournament game against Penn State (9 p.m., BTN).

Senior guard Trey Galloway wasn’t part of team warm-ups prior to tonight’s game in Minneapolis. He aggravated a knee injury in the Hoosiers’ regular-season finale against Michigan State.

Run it back:Trey Galloway, Anthony Leal will return for a fifth season

He’s developed into one of IU’s primary ball-handlers and has really helped orchestrate the offense, averaging 7.7 assists over his past seven games, excluding the MSU game when he played just seven minutes.

Sixth-year guard Xavier Johnson will likely resume his role as the team’s primary ball-handler with Galloway out, with Anthony Leal and Gabe Cupps in support.

The Hoosiers (18-13) are riding a four-game winning streak, but face a Penn State team (16-16) that swept IU this season, including an 85-71 win in Bloomington
