Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that they’ve moved into pole position to sign Renato Sanches.
The Lille midfielder has been linked with a move to Anfield for some time now, but there have been other suitors in the race to sign the former European Golden Boy.
However, the Reds have now reportedly jumped to the front of the queue to sign Sanches, and as you can imagine, these reports have sparked something of a reaction from the fanbase.
Supporters are largely very excited by the prospect of Sanches signing, and while some fans had reservations about his ability to stay fit, the overarching feeling amongst supporters was that of happiness and optimism.
After the departure of Georginio Wijnaldum, Liverpool could do with a midfielder through the door this summer, and it seems as though Sanches could be the man they sign.
