Liverpool now most likely side to sign ‘amazing’ £100m player in blockbuster transfer

Liverpool are the most likely side to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, the Daily Star say.

Liverpool have been linked with Bellingham for some time now, and the latest update suggests that they are leading the race.

Indeed, Manchester United have apparently changed their transfer plans as they feel Bellingham could be off to Anfield.

The Red Devils are now believed to be looking at Kalvin Phillips instead of Bellingham, as they feel their chances of landing the central midfielder are slim.

The report will excite Liverpool fans, as the signing of Bellingham is one which could light up Anfield.

Bellingham has made himself one of the most sought after prospects in world football through his performances for both Dortmund and England.

Despite still only being 18, he has a great deal of experience at the top level, and possesses an eviable skill set.

Bellingham excels in almost every area of the game, and there is a feeling that he could be one of the very best players in his position in the next few years.

Erling Haaland, who is his teammate at Dortmund, is one of his many admirers and called him ‘amazing’ recently (Daily Mirror).

If he was added to Liverpool’s midfield he could well be a key cog in their team for well over a decade, given his tender years.

And even though Bellingham is set to cost £100 million (EuroSport), he could still turn out to be excellent value for money, if he fulfils his potential with Klopp’s side.
