SOME REDS FANS REACT TO WHAT THEY’RE HEARING FROM PORTO CAMP

Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the possibility that Pepe could be absent for Porto ahead of their Champions League clash on Tuesday.

Porto head coach, Sergio Conceicao, told Tribune Express that they will see until the ‘last minute’ if their 38-year-old veteran can feature against the free-scoring Reds.

Conceicao did also confirm that Pepe ‘didn’t train’ on Monday and it makes a ‘big difference’ not having his hard-hitting talents at Estadio do Dragao tonight.

Liverpool fans have offered a mixed reaction to this news, with some thinking he will play, whilst others feel this offers Jurgen Klopp a chance to play a weaker side.

Pepe might be coming towards the end of his trophy-laden career, which also saw him win four Champions League trophies, but his clever antics are needed in a game like this.

There is no doubt that Liverpool will come out all guns blazing against the Portuguese giants, with or without Pepe.

Klopp’s players have been involved in some drama-filled games this season, their 3-3 draw at Brentford over the weekend, and their 3-2 win against AC Milan on the opening night of the Champions League.

If Pepe is to sit this one out then it would be a surprise if the Merseyside club leave Portugal without scoring at least one goal.

But then again, it just adds more spice, tension and entertainment to the game if the former Real Madrid man is playing because he can do anything silly or specular, at any given moment.

Here is a selection of Liverpool fans reacting to what they are hearing from the Porto camp:
