Erling Haaland’s ‘dream’ scenario is to join Real Madrid as the player looks to leave Borussia Dortmund imminently.
The Norwegian striker is a man in demand as his meteoric rise continues with the Germans.
Manchester United, Man City, and Paris Saint-Germain are just a few of a number of clubs circling the talisman as teams can activate a clause in his contract next summer that means he is available for a reported fee between £65million and £90m.
Dortmund realise the speculated price is significantly lower than his value and it’s claimed they have offered Haaland fresh terms, with double his salary, in an attempt to keep him for one more season.

But the player’s agent Mino Raiola has knocked back their offer as he made it clear that his client is looking to leave the club the first chance he gets, according to AS.
Dortmund opted not to sell their prized asset in the previous window, but that has worked out in Haaland’s favour as his ‘dream landing spot – Madrid – has now opened up. The Spanish side focused all their efforts towards signing Kylian Mbappe in the summer, but they had two bids rejected for the PSG star.
Madrid will still attempt to sign the French star on a pre-contract in January, but it means those funds can now be used for Haaland.
Man Utd were believed to be one of the favourites to win the race for the striker given his prior relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde.
And Haaland has spoken highly of the Old Trafford boss in the past and revealed he helped him refine his finishing in front of goal.
He told ESPN “Yeah, when I came to Molde as a 16-year-old boy, he taught me a lot of things from day one, as you said, he was my coach then and he taught me a lot of things.
“He was a striker, I’m a striker and he has won the Champions League and that’s also a dream for me, so he’s been teaching me a lot of finishing skills and small movements in the box and these kind of things.”
“I forgot to tell you this, but before that game [against Viking in 2018), Solskjaer and I did some practice on finishing,” Haaland told Eurosport in April 2020. “Not just crosses. I remember he taught me some easy rules.
“The first one was on touch. That I don’t use too much power and try to destroy the goal or the goalie with the ball. I think that I was thinking about doing that and it was something new that he told me. I trained a bit on that, but without scoring. But at least I had it in my head after that training session.
“That was something he taught me in the days before that game and he has taught me a lot to be calm, and also be on your toes and come to those situations where the ball is coming.
“It is then you have the chance to score. He deserves a lot of credit for teaching me that.”
