Arsenal could end up facing a bill of around €25million (£21million) for the signing of Internacional striker Yuri Alberto, though Zenit St Petersburg are also keen.

ARSENAL INTERESTED IN YURI ALBERTO

Goal in Brazil reported earlier this month that Arsenal have made their first move to sign Yuri Alberto.

Edu knows the Brazilian market well having already brought in the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and then defender Pablo Mari from Flamengo.

It looks like Edu is now pursuing a deal for Yuri Alberto as he attempts to add another exciting attacker to the Arsenal side.

YURI ALBERTO TO COST £22M

Goal offer an update on Yuri Alberto’s situation, claiming that Internacional are demanding around €25million (£22million) for the striker.

Zenit St Petersburg have fallen short of that price tag by offering €15million plus €3million in add-ons – around £12.75million plus £2.5million in add-ons.

That means Arsenal do still have a chance to get in and sign Yuri Alberto, but Edu may have to be quick.

WHO IS YURI ALBERTO?

Yuri Alberto, 20, joined Internacional from Santos back in 2020.

The youngster’s form has been strong, scoring 29 times in 84 games for Internactional.

Intriguingly, Yuri Alberto has been likened to Neymar in the past, summing up his huge potential.

No wonder Arsenal want Yuri Alberto; whether or not they can actually get him remains to be seen.
