Liverpool will take on Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
Defending champions City are a point clear of second-placed Liverpool at the top of the league table at the moment.
Former Manchester United and Everton star Rooney, who is now the manager of Derby County, believes that Liverpool can win against City at the Etihad Stadium.

In our opinion, the Premier League game between Manchester City and Liverpool will be massive.
We do not think that the match will decide the Premier League title race, but it will go a long way in doing so.
City and Liverpool will still have a number of games to play after this weekend’s clash, so we should not come to a conclusion now.
Liverpool does not have a great record at the Etihad Stadium, and that will be encouraging for City, who have a world-class manager in Pep Guardiola in charge.
However, Klopp, another world-class manager, will have a plan.
