Man City’s latest injury concern: five players who could miss the FA Cup tie against Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola is likely to have a thinner squad to choose from on Saturday.

Manchester City could have several players missing for their FA Cup semi-final clash with Liverpool on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola has admitted his side is in ‘big trouble’ following their physical game with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening, which saw the Sky Blues progress to the last four of the Champions League.

The Catalan spoke to BT Sport following his team’s 0-0 draw with Atletico and expressed his concern about player availability for their FA Cup fixture

“We are in big trouble,” Guardiola said.

“So we can’t forget we played three days ago, traveled, come here, have a lot of injuries now and I don’t know what will happen in the next weeks.”

The city will take on Real Madrid in the semi-final of the competition, with the first-leg of their tie at the Etihad Stadium on April 26, before their return fixture at the Bernabeu on May 4.

However, their attention turns to the FA Cup this weekend, a trophy the Sky Blues have lifted six times.

With that being said, let’s take a look at the five players Guardiola could be without on Saturday.

1. Ruben Dias

The center-back has been unavailable for some time due to injury and looks unlikely to be fit for the FA Cup tie with Liverpool.

2. Cole Palmer

Another member of Guardiola’s squad who hasn’t featured for some time, Cole Palmer has been recovering from a foot injury and is yet to be deemed fit to feature.

3. Kyle Walker

The experienced defender was substituted against Atletico on Wednesday due to a knee injury and looked in some pain when coming off. He could be a doubt this weekend.

4. Kevin De Bruyne

Another member of Guardiola’s squad who was forced off on Wednesday due to injury, Kevin De Bruyne was seen icing his leg following his withdrawal in the 65th-minute.
