The goal is responsible for this. According to them, Liverpool has three players on their books who are already on the transfer list.

The Reds’ season ended on Saturday, but they’re already preparing for the summer transfer window. Outgoings are expected, but so are incomings – and three players are at the top of their list in that regard.

Takumi Minamino is the most well-known name. We thought there was a good chance he’d stay with the club, but it appears he’ll leave. Despite making only a few appearances this season, his form has enticed teams to make offers.

The other two names are far more obvious. Nat Phillips will leave this summer after being promoted by Bournemouth. Again, if Liverpool is open to doing business, success should bring in offers quickly.

Similarly, Neco Williams is in the market following some excellent form for Fulham. Liverpool will look to cash in on a very talented young player after winning the Championship with him at the club.

The goal also emphasizes that the futures of others are uncertain. Both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have one year left on their contracts. If they are unable to secure new contracts, they may be added to this list as Liverpool seeks to make money.

Though, it’s worth mentioning that Keita is far more likely to sign a new one and remain with Liverpool.

Liverpool listening to offers

As we wrote recently, there are a number of players at the club who may have played their final Liverpool game. It’s a number that continues to grow, too – we actually underestimated the potential overhaul.

However, the word ‘overhaul’ may be too strong. With all of these departures, we’re mostly talking about squad players or loanees, rather than first-team players being placed on the transfer list. That is not to say that big names will not leave the club – Sadio Mané appears to be on his way out – but Liverpool’s priority is to trim the squad.

We expect them to make a good living out of all of this. Minamino, Phillips and Williams will all profit – if only because the latter two were free. It’s money that Liverpool can easily reinvest in what will be a record-breaking summer for the club.
