Liverpool has agreed to a £55.6 million contract with star

According to media reports, Liverpool is closing in on the signing of Darwin Nunez during the summer transfer window.

The two clubs’ agreement has already been completed, and the center forward will sign a five-year contract with the Merseysiders.

In terms of pay, media reports suggest that the Benfica striker will become one of the highest earners at Anfield.

Nunez has agreed to a deal worth around 250,000 euros per week, or £214,000 per week, according to an exclusive story covered by Gianluigi Longari for Football Transfers.

As a result, the total value of the five-year contract will be around £55.6 million.

If the above-mentioned salary is correct, the 22-year-old star will become Liverpool’s second highest earner. He will only trail Dutch international Virgil van Dijk, who earns £220,000 per week (The Mirror).

The Reds have been trying for a long time to agree on a new contract with Player of the Year Mohamed Salah, but the Egyptian playmaker still earns £200,000 per week. It should be noted that his current contract will expire next year.

Salah won the Premier League Golden Boot after scoring 23 goals last season, while Nunez won the Bola de Prata award for being Portugal’s top scorer (26 goals).

Let’s hope the duo can work well together to destroy their opponents next season.
