Danilo of Palmeiras should be Liverpool’s primary priority when looking to bolster the midfield in the upcoming summer.

Liverpool will soon be looking for a midfielder with a “outstanding athletic profile” who is in their early 20s, according to David Lynch in The National.

They allegedly won’t be concerned about paying a large transfer price but will be careful with their wage budget. They might now miss out on Jude Bellingham, who was said to be their main target, according to some speculation.

Danilo seems to meet the criteria for all those reasons.
Allow Tim Vickery, journalist and authority on South American football, to acquaint you with the Brazilian.

When Danilo Vickery speaks about South American football, you pay attention because he is fantastic source of knowledge.
The journalist was also asked yesterday on TalkSPORT who is the “hottest property” in Brazilian football right now.

Liverpool should pay attention to his clear response because it was given.

Danilo is simple one, said Vickery.
“The Palmeiras central midfielder, left-footed central midfielder.
He is most likely the best player in South American football.

He is energetic, left-footed, and was selected for the Brazil team.
He was the only outfielder from Brazil who had just been called up to the team.

All of that is really encouraging.
Liverpool might face competition, though, if they decide to go after deal for the 21-year-old.

Vickery said, “Arsenal wanted him in January.”
“The only reason that didn’t go through was because Palmeiras didn’t want to sell because they were competing in the Club World Cup in February.
Even though they don’t want to sell during this window, they won’t be able to hold onto him for long.
He has grown so quickly, and believe he would improve any midfield in the Premier League.

entering before the crowd
It is simple to understand why Arsenal has expressed interest.
Danilo appears to be robust and strong midfielder with propensity for thinking ahead.
Danilo appears to have comparable skill set to Aurelien Tchouameni, who Liverpool missed out on signing.
He might not be inexpensive, though.
The youngster has release of almost £86 million, according to Esportes.

However, it’s unlikely that Liverpool would be required to pay the entire sum.
Arsenal’s bid in January was apparently more-or-less quarter of that, and according to Vickery trade was close to being finalised.
Even though the transfer sum is substantial, Liverpool should be able to afford his salary.
Danilo appears to have chance to reach Brazil’s World Cup roster later this year if he can maintain performing well for Palmeiras.
In that circumstance, Liverpool should make every effort to arrive first.
They might once again be priced out should interest in Danilo soar, as it appears to be happening with Bellingham.
