Klopp is pressuring Liverpool to sign a Premier League player for £47 million.

Liverpool has been heavily linked with Brazilian international Raphinha, and the latest media reports are intriguing.

We reported over the weekend that the Reds had offered the attacker a much more lucrative package than Barcelona. Nonetheless, Deco, the winger’s agent, wants him to join Barcelona.

The main problem for the financially troubled Spanish club is that they cannot meet Leeds United’s high asking price.

According to a Catalan source, Nacional, Barcelona is unwilling to spend 55 million euros (£47 million) to agree on a fee with the Whites, and thus the deal is dead.

Ousmane Dembele, whose current contract expires in 9 days, has recently stated that he would be happy to stay with the Blaugrana. If he extends his contract, Xavi will not prioritize signing a winger.

The Merseysiders are reportedly planning an attack to entice Raphinha this summer. Jurgen Klopp is convinced that the Premier League winger can replace Sadio Mane, and the German is pressing Liverpool to sign him.

In the 2020-21 season, the former Rennes player directly contributed 18 goals across all competitions (played 6 games in the Ligue 1).

In the Premier League last season, the 25-year-old scored 11 goals and provided three assists for the Elland Road club.

To improve the quality and depth of their wide attacking positions, Liverpool must sign a winger. Should they offer £47 million to sign Raphinha, in your opinion?
