Tottenham has made a £50 million bid for an attacker. Chelsea wants him to sign, but he wants to leave.

Tottenham have reportedly made a bid for Everton star Richarlison, who’s a player Chelsea want to sign this summer.

According to The Sun, Spurs have made an offer for the £50million-rated Brazilian attacker.

It is understood the 25-year-old is “desperate” to move during this transfer window amid interest from Chelsea, too.

The report explains Tottenham’s bid actually involves a double swoop for Everton players Richarlison and Anthony Gordon, which is an £80million fee plus a further £20million based on appearances.

Tottenham bid for Richarlison

Spurs have signalled their intent to sign Richarlison by putting an offer on the table for him.

The Brazil international, who has 53 goals in 152 Everton appearances, is a Premier League proven star who seems destined for a move to a bigger club.

Antonio Conte’s Spurs have already been extremely busy in the opening weeks of the summer window, so are putting their foot on the gas to improve their squad.

In contrast, Chelsea supporters are patiently waiting for their first signing of the summer.

It’s been reported some senior Chelsea players have advised that Richarlison would be a great addition at Stamford Bridge this summer. If true, it seems a no-brainer to react to the Spurs bid with their own offer.

The Everton star’s versatility to play in wide or central attacking positions is a huge tick against his name. He’s a player with great aggression, skill and work rate, too.
