Tottenham is “confident” of stealing a €45 million transfer; Paratici will undertake talks with a top target.

Antonio Conte, the manager of Tottenham, has mentioned working there for “many years” as he seeks to make Spurs a consistent title challenger.
Given that his current contract with Spurs expires at the end of the current campaign, with the option of an additional year, the Italian has long been evasive about his future at the club.

After guiding Spurs back into the Champions League, Conte has received almost £100 million in support in the transfer market this summer as he looks to fight on four fronts.
But while he continues to assemble a “young” squad, he has emphasized the need for patience.

Prior to Saturday’s friendly matchup against Roma, Conte spoke to reporters in Israel and said: “As I’ve previously stated, our project and plan is to try to become more competitive than in the past, but you are well aware that in football, nothing significant can be built in a day, a month, or a year.

“You must proceed gradually while attempting to improve the caliber and expand the number of players in your squad. When a team remains in the top four and competes in European matches, they must approach four contests as effectively as possible.

“Last season, I believe we put forth a lot of effort to qualify for the Champions League. At the same time, I believe we took advantage of United’s issues, and in the past three games, Arsenal had a four-point lead over us. For this reason, we must continue working with the team to develop the players and continue to make them better. They have a great deal of room to grow.

We can work together for a long time to grow and compete with the greatest teams in England and Europe because this team is young.
