Liverpool’s star has recovered from his injury and is expected to resume training soon.

According to a report, Diogo Jota’s injury status has improved. This preseason, the Liverpool forward has been injured.

This is according to the Telegraph. They claim Diogo Jota has recovered from his hamstring injury and will begin training again soon.

Jota has missed the majority of the preseason due to a hamstring injury. As a result, he missed the Community Shield and will be unavailable to face Fulham in the Premier League opener.

In fact, Jurgen Klopp recently discussed Jota’s hamstring issue. He stated that things would ‘take a while,’ and that the situation was more serious than previously thought.

But it appears that the forward will be back soon. While he’s behind the rest of his teammates when it comes to preparation, Klopp should be able to call upon Jota before too long.

Positive injury update on Diogo Jota

Jota, to be honest, didn’t need this injury to happen right now. It comes at a time when Sadio Mané has left the club, leaving a clear spot in the starting XI open.

And Jota could be the ideal replacement for what Mané brought to the side. He certainly has the necessary versatility and is more experienced than either Luis Diaz or Darwin Nunez.

But it is those two who are vying for starting spots as Liverpool begins the season. Jota is instead watching from the sidelines, and it will take him a few weeks to catch up.

Fortunately, the 25-year-old appears to be in good enough shape to resume training before the season begins. After all, there was concern that he’d be out for some time and would miss at least the first few weeks.

Instead, we should see him back in the thick of things before the end of August, when the battle for positions will be well underway.
