Klopp wants Liverpool to make a €60 million bid for a lightning fast forward capable of tearing the Premier League apart.

Liverpool may again enter the transfer market, this time for a former Premier League winger worth €60 million.

The Reds have been linked with Leroy Sane, a former Manchester City, and current Bayern Munich winger.

Sane, 26, joined Bayern Munich in 2020 for a fee of around £54.8 million and has won six trophies in two seasons.

With Liverpool lacking depth in the wide attacking position, Sane could be a great option – but it’s unclear whether he’ll be able to displace either Luis Diaz or Mohamed Salah if he joins.

According to recent reports, Jurgen Klopp is interested in the German speedster as an attacking option.

According to a report in Spain’s Nacional, Klopp wants them to submit a bid as soon as possible.

The German manager is convinced that Sané would be an excellent addition, and he has asked the club to make an offer as soon as possible.

Given his tremendous speed, Sane, who has been linked with several players who have never played in the league before, would be able to acclimate quickly and settle into the German’s heavy-metal style of play.

Based on his individual statistics, you’d have to say no. However, the common misconception is that he has underwhelmed at Bayern, despite the fact that the team has done so during his two seasons at the club.

He is still only 26 years old and a regular for club and country, but there is a sense that he could produce more. He was in the 99th percentile for shots per 90, but he underperformed his xG by 2.8 last season.

In his prime at Manchester City, he outperformed his xG by 4.3 in back-to-back seasons as Pep Guardiola’s system required him to produce at least 20 G/A in the league only.

He produced two seasons at Bayern with returns of 24 G/A and 29 G/A (in all competitions) back-to-back, as Bayern won the Bundesliga twice as well as four other trophies. With a World Cup on the horizon, he could have his best Bayern season yet.
