Manchester City travels to Molineux Stadium on Saturday afternoon to face Wolves. The Sky Blues enter the match fresh off a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the second match of the UCL group stages. The Manchester giants will look to replicate their performance in the Premier League clash.
Pep Guardiola would opt for the 4-3-3 formation with Manuel Akanji continuing in the backline and Phil Foden returning to the left-wing position in the frontline.

Defense
Ederson Moraes will operate in between the sticks for the upcoming clash. The Brazilian shot-stopper will hope to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Saturday. Ruben Dias will form the center-half partnership with Manuel Akanji at the heart of the City’s backline.
Joao Cancelo might start at the right-back position, whereas Sergio Gomez will fill in on the other flank as the left-back. The full-backs will be expected to stretch the opposition and keep their shape defensively.
John Stones would provide cover from the bench as he waits for his opportunity to feature in the latter half of the game.
Midfield
Rodri is a guaranteed starter in the holding midfield position; he’ll be tasked with shielding the backline and distributing possession to his teammates efficiently.

Erling Haaland will lead the charge for the Etihad club this weekend. The Norwegian international will continue on his excellent run of form trying to find the back of the net as he faces off against the Wolves’ defense.
