The relationship between Leonardo Bonucci and Juventus manager Max Allegri, according to the Italian publication CMW, is “worsening” amid rumors that Tottenham may try to swoop in and sign Antonio Conte in January.

Indeed, Bonucci did play the majority of the second half but only because Bremer had to come off. CMTV reported this week that Tottenham are keeping tabs on the situation, and could make a shock move for the £198k-a-week defender.

Now, CMW report that the relationship between Bonucci and Allegri is getting worse, following his axe against Torino. It is claimed that it might even possibly push Bonucci towards a move. Allegri has been given a vote of confidence.

BONUCCI AND ALLEGRI RELATIONSHIP WORSENING AMID TOTTENHAM REPORTS

Bonucci would be a wonderful signing for Tottenham. But such an addition would be harsh on the excellent Eric Dier. He has established himself as one of Antonio Conte’s most-relied upon players since the Italian joined Tottenham.

Dier, a defender for Tottenham, has been in such strong form that he has been re-invited to the England team. He is practically guaranteed to earn a spot in the World Cup team before Qatar this winter. But Conte is familiar with Bonucci.

They collaborated while Conte was the manager of Juventus. They both represent Juventus. While Conte won’t take Allegri’s place at Juventus until the summer of 2019, it’s possible that he’ll lure Bonucci to London.
