Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool and Reds transfer target Jude Bellingham were both seen complaining about the heat during England’s training camp in Qatar.
Since arriving for international duty ahead of the World Cup, the pair have been inseparable.
Both Three Lions stars, who are frequently seen training together, have now been photographed struggling with the Middle Eastern heat.
England’s official Twitter account shared a video of players attempting to cool down in between phases of play.
Bellingham is seen twice sinking his head into a fan’s blasting cold air, while Alexander-Arnold appears just behind him, exhausted and ready to rest.
Although the video is merely an illustration of just how difficult it is going to be to play football for 90 minutes in the swelteringly hot temperatures of Qatar, it may also throw up another interesting point for Liverpool fans.
As previously mentioned by journalist Dominic King, the pair are rarely pictured far away from one another since the England camp arrived out in Doha.
Therefore, it is intriguing to see the duo captured nearby one another once again.
Whilst Reds supporters will be more excited to see the right-back and club captain Jordan Henderson out on the pitch, they will also take any sign they can that hints at an Anfield move for the BVB youngster.
With so many European heavyweights queuing up for the 19-year-old’s signature, a close friend in the 24-year-old Scouser could be a decisive factor in swaying Bellingham into joining Liverpool.
In the past, Henderson has been seen talking with the midfielder, offering him advice behind the scenes at the England camp. Having spoken of his admiration for the Reds skipper, it seems the Merseyside pair are doing their best to convince the teenager into becoming Jurgen Klopp’s record signing.
Sharing these experiences together, it is good to see Alexander-Arnold building a rapport with Bellingham. This can be in any shape or form, whether that be complaining about the heat together out in Qatar or not.
