Tottenham face fight for creative midfielder Conte and Paratici are in agreement to sign

Tottenham Hotspur is interested in Ruslan Malinovskyi, but a number of Premier League clubs are also interested in the Atalanta midfielder.

Tottenham currently sits fourth in the Premier League table and has secured a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Yet the manner of the performances has left some very worried with Antonio Conte’s men often going behind before having to drag themselves back into games.

Conte will want more signings in 2023 to try and take Tottenham forward and a creative midfielder should be a priority.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR ARE EYEING RUSLAN MALINOVSKYI

Football London report that Tottenham have looked into signing Atalanta playmaker Ruslan Malinovskyi.

It’s suggested that Tottenham are eyeing a bargain move with Malinovskyi out of contract at the end of the season.

However, it’s stated that a number of Premier League and European clubs have been alerted to Malinovskyi’s availability, so Tottenham face a battle to sign him.

The 29-year-old is known for his hammer of a left foot and his ability to create in the final third.

Tottenham seemingly believe that Malinovskyi’s skillset and his potentially cheap price can make a real difference moving forward, even if he isn’t a long-term option.

Tuttomercatoweb even claim that both Conte and Fabio Paratici are in agreement that Tottenham need to go for Malinovskyi in January.

The Ukrainian ace has started just five league games this season and it looks like Malinovskyi and Atalanta are heading towards a divorce.

It’s unclear just who the other Premier League clubs in the race for Malinovskyi are but surely Tottenham are the most appealing.

The likes of West Ham United and Nottingham Forest have been mentioned in recent months but Tottenham have things they just can’t offer.

The chance to work with Conte, the prospect of challenging for the top four and playing in the Champions League; Tottenham look like the best move for Malinovskyi.
