The 29-year-old was linked with a move to the German side this summer, but nothing materialized of such speculations. It is understood that the striker could be available for a fee of around €80-100 million.
On the other hand, talks have been ongoing for a possible new contract for the England captain. The 29-year-old has just over 18 months left on his current deal.
Kane has been terrific for Antonio Conte’s side this season. The striker has scored 12 goals in 15 league games for the Lilywhites so far this season.
While he is yet to score in this World Cup, the 29-year-old has three assists in three games for the Three Lions and has helped them reach the Round of 16. It will really be surprising to see if the striker decides to leave next month.
Tottenham has been very good this season, sitting fourth on the table, and has qualified for the next round in the Champions League. They look like a force to reckon with this season, and the 29-year-old has played a major role in this.
