‘I’d love to play in Spain,’ he says: £300,000 per week Manchester City’s star drops a huge transfer hint

Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish has admitted that he would like to play in Spain one day, and the England international is also open to moving to America to play in Major League Soccer.

In an interview with Men’s Health, the 27-year-old superstar revealed that he is open to leaving England one day, presumably after his playing days at City, saying: “I have places that I’d love to play.” One day, I’d like to play in Spain. I’d love to play in the United States. I have a

Grealish joined City last summer in a British-record transfer deal worth £100m, with the former Aston Villa captain signing a contract worth £300,000-a-week as the England winger looks to finally be settled at the Etihad Stadium after moving to Manchester.

The winger has been a regular for Pep Guardiola this season in both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, with Grealish also scoring for England at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the Three Lions’ 6-2 group stage win against Iran.

Indeed, whilst it might be some time before Grealish leaves City, the winger opening up about his future does give us a good idea of where the attacker wants to play in the future, with a move to La Liga for Real Madrid or FC Barcelona a possibility in the years to come.

Moreover, Grealish’s ambition to one day play in America is quite a surprising one. However, given that MLS as a league has grown tenfold over the past few years in terms of popularity and quality, the City star making the move to the States can’t be ruled out with the player himself interested in the country.

Grealish’s style of play screams of domination in Spain, and for the Birmingham-born attacker, moving to the European nation feels like a genius career move later down the line, with the England international more than capable of thriving in La Liga.

Which club Grealish will join is another question entirely. However, the winger putting it out there that he wants to play in Spain will be of interest to many top clubs, especially those with money to spend on a superstar attacker who is regular for a team as big as City.
