Manchester United will reportedly make a decision on a star who appears dissatisfied with his fading role under Erik ten Hag, and Chelsea is reportedly planning a January rescue bid.

The Ten Hag era is firmly underway at Old Trafford and the Dutchman has shown he is not afraid of making big decisions. Indeed, his tough-line stance with Cristiano Ronaldo had the star stewing behind the scenes, with the veteran Portuguese star in and out of the United side.

And when his tensions came to the surface in an explosive Piers Morgan interview, Ten Hag reportedly issued a savage two-word response.

More tough verdicts will clearly lie ahead and, when a new manager comes in, not all those who found favor under previous regimes survive.

To that end, Aaron Wan-Bissaka – a £50m signing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – has very quickly seen life turn sour. His Old Trafford adventure will surely end in January, with TEAMtalk revealing the two sides battling for his services.

However, he may not be the most high-profile exit at Old Trafford next month.

And with the January window opening in just 25 days, rumors are starting to circulate over the future of Jadon Sancho.

The winger moved to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021, United paying Dortmund a huge fee of £73m. His arrival ended a nearly two-year chase by the Red Devils to land their man.

He arrived at the club with a huge reputation, having scored 50 times in 137 games for the Bundesliga side.

However, he has rarely come close to replicating that form now back in the

Indeed, Sancho has eight goals in 52 games for the club and looks bereft of that once-famous swagger.

Star unhappy at Man Utd – reports

Sancho has three goals and one assist to his name from 14 appearances this season. Ten of those games have come in the Premier League, though he last appeared during the 1-1 draw at Chelsea on October 22.

Since then, rumors of his unhappiness at United have begun to circulate. And those gathered serious pace when Sancho was left out of United’s training squad that headed to Spain as they prepare for the season’s resumption.

Those feelings of unhappiness are exasperated by losing his place in England’s World Cup squad. Sancho was a member of England’s squad that reached the Euro 2020 final.

However, his last appearance for his country came in October 2021, during a World Cup qualifying win over Andorra.

And with Gareth Southgate blessed with options, Sancho has seemingly fallen some way below selection.

Now, reports suggest his unhappy spell at United could soon come to an end.

As per Calciomercatoweb, Chelsea is preparing a bid to rescue Sancho from his misery.

The report claims they are planning to move for Sancho once they shift Christian Pulisic from their books.

Juventus are also reportedly keen on Sancho, but they cannot compete with the Blues financially.

And the report claims a move to Stamford Bridge looks like the most likely outcome should United decide to sell.

Furthermore, Ten Hag appears unlikely to stand in the unhappy winger’s way. While Sancho remains part of his plans, he will not block his exit if that is what he wishes.

And if the price is right – United is reportedly seeking a minimum of £50m – his funds will add to Ten Hag’s January transfer pot.
