As new claims emerge, Leicester City receives a transfer boost over an Atalanta star.

The latest Leicester City transfer news from LeicestershireLive brings you an update on target Jeremie Boga

Leicester City target and Atalanta winger Jeremie Boga has reportedly asked his agent to find him a new club.

The 25-year-old has struggled to hit the same form he initially had when he arrived on loan from Sassuolo earlier this year, before making the move permanent. His performances have been described as ‘far from what is expected, prompting the club to sanction his exit.

According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, the wide man has “asked his agent Fali Ramadani to find him a move away from Atalanta in the summer.” The report also highlights that Leicester remains the frontrunner to sign him.

The report claims that Boga’s move to Leicester seemed like a done deal a few months ago, but Dennis Praet’s return to Torino hampered a potential switch. The city is reportedly ready to retry their luck, however, but will face competition from Serie A outfit Fiorentina.

It is claimed that the player’s agent Ramadani represents Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano, which could see Boga become the subject of negotiation with the Florence club in the “coming weeks”.
