Bellingham ‘turns a deaf ear’ to Liverpool offer, while Madrid is confident and ‘eyeing’ Citeh.

According to Spanish media, Real Madrid ‘have an eye’ on Manchester City player Bernardo Silva and are getting more confident in their pursuit of Jude Bellingham.

Los Blancos’ main opponents Barcelona allegedly sought to sign Silva last summer, and the midfielder was interested in the transfer.

However, he did not aggressively pursue the transfer, and Manchester City, as they normally do, acknowledged he might go if his asking price was fulfilled.

Barcelona, cheap as ever, could not meet City’s valuation – believed to be in the region of £80m – and failed to land the Portugal international.

While he was open to moving to the Nou Camp, it is not known whether or not Silva would like to join Madrid, who are a more attractive team at this moment in time.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Madrid ‘have an eye’ on Silva after Barcelona ended their interest.

It is stated that Luka Modric is expected to sign a new contract with his current deal expiring in the summer, however, Toni Kroos’ future at the club, and in football, is in doubt.

There have been some reports that Kroos will retire at the end of the season when his contract runs out, though the German midfielder is yet to confirm this.

The 33-year-old has said before that he aims to finish at the very top level, and it does not get much more elite than playing for Real Madrid.

Silva is under contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2025 and the Premier League champions are eager to extend his stay.

While Barcelona’s interest is ‘decreasing,’ Madrid’s is ‘growing,’ according to the report.

The European champions are also interested in recruiting Borussia Dortmund youngster Jude Bellingham.

Liverpool, City, and Real Madrid are all interested in the 19-year-old England international. He has also been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich, however the three others are thought to be in the lead.

Dortmund is anticipated to want roughly £130 million for its best asset, who is poised to leave during the summer transfer window.

Los Blancos are confident of ‘closing his contract as soon as possible,’ according to Marca.

The title ‘Bellingham, on the road’ dominated the cover of the Spanish newspaper on Thursday.

Madrid are believed to be ‘far on their way to signing’ the adolescent midfielder, who has so far ‘turned a deaf ear’ to all’succulent offers’ he has received.

With Enzo Fernandez set to cost £106 million and Chelsea attempting to recruit him from Benfica, it is reasonable to expect Madrid and Liverpool to increase their interest in Bellingham, if that is feasible.
