Free transfer offered to Tottenham and Arsenal – Agents seek a €50 million package.

Evan Ndicka, a defender for Eintracht Frankfurt, has been offered to Arsenal and Tottenham by his representatives, but his high demands may have scuttled any deal.

The agents appear to have ‘lost touch with reality’ in their attempts to make a killing’ on their client this summer, according to Frankfurter Rundschau.

Nick’s contract with Frankfurt expires this summer, so he is free to sign a pre-contract with any club in Europe for a free move in the summer.

He has since been connected with a number of teams, notably those in the Premier League, who are all looking for a good deal.

Frankfurter Rundschau cover that today and explain that while the German club would like to keep the defender, they know it is tough as he is available for free and his agency is looking for a ‘tremendously warm windfall’.

However, they are finding it more difficult to obtain than they anticipated since those agents have ‘gambled’ and appear to have ‘lost touch with reality’ in the process.

They are providing their clients all around Europe, and the list of ‘interested parties’ is expanding by the day, including Arsenal and Tottenham.

The issue is that they are offering their clients to these clubs at “moon pricing,” and several clubs have already declined any proposition.

This is because the agents have informed the interested teams that they require a five-year contract for roughly €50 million in total. This would consist of an initial €15 million payout to the athlete and an annual salary of a ‘good €7 million.’

That’s a lot of money for a player who is meant to be free, and the sum has already scared off’ quite a few of those who have forwarded. The ‘brash behavior’ of Ndicka’s agents has also been criticized.

It is unclear whether Arsenal and Tottenham are among those who have been scared off, but it seems doubtful that they would hear such a cost and not think twice.

It means Ndicka may miss out on a move, and he will have to decide whether the people representing him are right for him.

At the present, it looks like they are not.
