Tottenham manager Antonio Conte takes a jab at Arsenal as the NLD mind games begin.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has called out Arsenal ahead of Sunday’s North London Derby.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has stated that it is ‘unfair’ for players and managers to attempt to intimidate referees. Arsenal received two consecutive charges for failing to control their players in the 0-0 draw with Newcastle and the 3-0 win over Oxford prior to Sunday’s North London Derby.

Antonio Conte andĀ Arsenal will meet for the second time this season, as the two north London rivals vie for bragging rights among their fans. Both clubs have a lot to play for, with Arsenal vying for the Premier League title and Spurs vying for a spot in the top four.

The mind games have already begun in the pre-match press conferences with Conte suggesting Arsenal’s recent behavior has been ‘unfair’. Mikel Arteta’s team has been charged by the FA twice in six days for their players’ reactions to handball decisions against Newcastle and Oxford.

He stated: “It is not fair to intimidate and create a hostile environment. I despise those who attempt it.”
