Chelsea believe they can sign a £25 million Tottenham player, but he has no plans to leave Conte.

Tottenham has no intention of selling Yves Bissouma to Chelsea or anyone else, amid reports the Blues have offered Hakim Ziyech in return.

Reports from The Telegraph yesterday suggested that Chelsea had launched an audacious bid to try and sign Bissouma, who only joined the club in the summer. It’s been claimed that the Blues would be willing to let Ziyech go if it means they can sign Bissouma.

However, a report from 90Min today has claimed that rather than be tempted to cash in on Bissouma, Spurs instead see him as a star of the future. Tottenham invested a decent amount of money into the former Brighton midfielder in the summer.

Now 26, the Mali international has yet to hit the ground running with the Spurs. However, he is contracted at the club for what should be his prime years. And with that, the Spurs believe he will come well. Further, Bissouma is also believed to be happy at the club.

Chelsea is looking to offload a number of players if they can. They’ve splashed huge money this month, with the likes of Mudryk, Badiashile, and Noni Madueke all coming on board.

TBR’s View: Bissouma should stick at it with Tottenham

There’s not a lot of point in Bissouma leaving Tottenham just yet. They moved a lot of pieces to get him in the summer so you’d think, over time, he’ll become a key player.

Chelsea is just looking to do as many deals as possible. Ziyech is a tempting proposition for Spurs and a player who’d make a difference. However, not at the expense of Bissouma.

Right now, Tottenham needs to strengthen the squad. Sure, certain players can be put up for sale or moved on in swap deals. But not a player who cost £25m just a matter of months ago.
