Leicester City has received a ‘concrete offer’ for James Maddison.

Latest Leicester City transfer news from LeicestershireLive as James Maddison continues to be the subject of transfer interest

Leicester City has reportedly received a ‘concrete bid’ for James Maddison from an unnamed club ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

In recent months, the England international has been linked with a big-money move to Newcastle, but City has so far turned down their offers. In the summer, the Magpies turned down two bids for the midfielder.

Maddison’s contract at the King Power Stadium was extended in 2020, and it now runs through 2024. However, with no sign of a new contract, speculation about his future continues.

According to The Express, despite the club rejecting ‘every approach’ in recent weeks, Maddison could still be sold this month. It is claimed that one of those was a ‘concrete bid from an unnamed club’ and therefore a last-minute exit ‘cannot be ruled out’.
