Everton have chance for international break boost that will really help Sean Dyche

Latest Everton news as Sean Dyche will still have numerous players to work with during the international break

Everton has a long gap before their return to Premier League action.

The Blues have now entered the final international break of the season, and are not back on the pitch for nearly two weeks. Everton welcomes Tottenham Hotspur to Goodison Park for Monday Night Football on April 3.

Between now and then, Sean Dyche will work with the players that are not currently away on international duty. Those not away with their respective countries will be given a brief break before returning to training.

The likes of Jordan Pickford, Amadou Onana, and Seamus Coleman, among others, will be away on international duty. But who will be reporting for training earlier? In what could turn out to be a boost for the boss ahead of the crucial league run-in, there are plenty of players in that bracket he can work with.

Goalkeepers Asmir Begovic and Andy Lonergan will be around Finch Farm to get some training in before Pickford returns.

In terms of defense, Dyche will have nearly all of his center-backs fresh following a break. James Tarkowski, Mason Holgate, Michael Keane, Ben Godfrey, and Conor Coady are not on international duty and will be back earlier than others.

Everton also has a host of England players who are not part of Gareth Southgate’s squad. Tom Davies, Dwight McNeil, Demarai Gray, and Ellis Simms will be back at Finch Farm earlier than others during the international break.

In terms of injured players, Dyche will hope to have a look at Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Andros Townsend during the break. Calvert-Lewin hasn’t played since the win over Arsenal at the start of February, while Townsend has been sidelined with an ACL injury for the last 12 months.
