Gallas backs Chelsea to make Kane move

William Gallas has encouraged Todd Boehly to sign Harry Kane in the summer, claiming that the Tottenham star is the ‘perfect’ option for Chelsea. The 29-year-old faces an increasingly uncertain future at Spurs after he recently entered the final 14 months of his contract.

Stellini spoke about the prospect of Brazilian international Richarlison returning from injury, with the former Watford man coming back to training earlier this month. Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s game against the Cherries, the Italian said: “We have only Richy (Richarlison) with one-week training with us.

“Only Richy is completely back and we recover him, the other players start to work but work alone so they are not available.” He added: “We have to take care of him, to give him training, and the right timing to play. To not take risks.”

Top four aim

Tottenham Hotspur interim manager Christian Stellini says his side has ‘eight finals’ to make it into the top four and is looking to play more ‘attacking football’ to achieve it. Spurs sit three points adrift of the Champions League places having played a game more than the two sides directly above them, with Stellini set to take charge of his third match this afternoon against Bournemouth.

He said: “We could do it. We have to play eight final games like eight finals. We started with Brighton and now we have eight games. We have to play attacking football. We are trying to push more to create more chances, to try to shoot more on target, to create something that can create a good atmosphere in the stadium, and to get the crowd behind us.”
